THEMATICS
From 2022 to 2024, I served as R3’s creative director, designing nine single covers, two album covers, and two album tracklists. I aimed to build a solid creative identity early in his career that could evolve and grow with him in the coming years.
R3 Da Chilliman embodies the essence of “chilli”—a slang term for money rooted in the San Fernando Valley. Money, ice, and the color blue form the core of R3’s identity. Through our collaboration, these became the foundational elements of his visual and thematic brand.
Another pillar of R3’s artistry is his authentic, street-inspired aesthetic. My handwriting became a signature feature across his album and single covers, infusing a tactile, rugged energy balanced by my refined design sensibilities.
